Mercury Throttle Control Cables

I am "considering" adding a jackplate to my 1992 201 with a 2005 Opti on the back. My mechanic has advised me I do not have long enough throttle cable for the 8" setback I was looking at. Current throttle control is original (1992). I would like to keep cost low if adding a Jackplate and in need of ideas of where to find a throttle control and cables without buying new.

1) post in the Mercury forum that you're looking for a used cable... indicate the length
2) post in the wtb forum in the Buy Sell area.
3) post in the General Bassboat topics
3) check Ebay.
