Price on a 175 fast strike?

What would be a good price to pay for a 1991 Johnson fast strike? I need a new motor and I found a fast strike for $2500.00.

bout right better get it checked out by a certified tech. also remember it is a little gas hungry so if coming from an efi type motor you will not like the extra expense of gas. good luck

Thanks for the info, as for the gas ????? I have never had the boat in the water to find out what kind of gas it uses. Got the boat home and it had a bad cylinder.
