2003 225 HP Opti,125 hrs. I've always had a second beep when I engage the starter, since new. I had the head gasket replaced last year due to a leak and asked the mechanic about it. He said there were no codes so don't worry about it. He had no idea what was causing the beep. In reading about batteries someone else had this issue and thought it was due to not enough battery cranking amps. Could this be the issue? Thanks, T.

Load test your current battery to see what it's TRUE capacity is.
