Any BRP dealer ought to have rattle cans. Several board sponsor dealers can get it for you, I got mine from C&O
if your only repainting part of the motor youll have to deal with color fading probably. i went that route and repainted the cowl on a 94 intruder. turned out good but you could tell where the old paint ended and the new paint began.
Here's the situation...my 1993 374V came new from Greene boat & motor in Spindale NC and they had several Johnson that came in with primed lower units (must of gotten a deal on them for some reason). Well they sprayed the lower units and it looked good for 5 yrs or so, but now its 90% wore off down to the grey primer and I just want to spruce it up.
What do yall recommend as far as prep and types of primer and paints to use? I'm painting the foot only.

basically like most paint jobs, prep work is key (maybe even more so in this case since its on a part that is going to take some abuse from the water). after the prep work, a good etching primer (Zinc chromate) and a quality paint which the omc paint youre looking at should be.
I had the same motor ,but mine was grey
I just got the OMC paint code and went to my local paint store and they ordered it for me in a rattle can,,,worked great.
