1992 Johnson Fast Strike Crapped on me !!!!!!

Took off to first spot...motor ran fine...........go to take off again and the motor is super boggy and wont go past 2200 rpm....cant get the boat to plain.....also noticed a loud ticking noise....lifted the cowling off and it seemed to be coming from the timing wheel area..........i eventually had my partner clime to the front of the boat to get it to plain out some and i was able to trim a hair and get it to 40 mph............initially thought it was a spun hub.....but i dont think thats possible now....any ideas ????

Piston was burned up...rod bearing thrown............ticking was piston slapping head......screeeeeeeewed
