    pros and cons on micro guides

    fixin to build 2 new rods. micros or not.

    I have built 10 rods. 6 casting with micro's I have not built spinning with micro's yet. I love the micro's on my casting rods. I built two 8ft cranking rods and the casting distance is huge. Hope this helps.

    I love the spirals. Did two glass rods and one Lamiglas Excel frog rod with spiral wrapped micros.

    micros for sure but spiral wrap and finish micros only if it is a tip up fishing method for the rod.

    I have a spinning rod built with micros and I absolutely love it. Extremely light, casts further then my other rods and handles fantastic.
