These are 3/4"long and 1/16oz. Although I started making them as a novelty, they have been doing real well on bluegills. Sanding something this small ca sure be a pain.

Those are really cool! Have you considered using a Dremel 400 XPR with a flex-shaft to sand your works of art? You can do some delicate work with that set up. I use the variable speed tool with a 120 grit / 1/2" sanding band to shape the guide feet before wrapping.
If you have questions, give me a holler.
Good luck and Good work...........George
Thanks gentlemen for your comments on the minis.
George, I do use a Foredom for some of my sanding but the things are just so small they don't give you much to hold on to. As a long time woodcarver,I have owned a couple Dremels in the past and I find them to be great tools in one or two minute bursts, then wait for them to cool, but they will not hold a candle to a Foredom for getting work done.
Not only the woodwork, but the painting of something so small is also incredible!! Great work John!!![]()
