I had an 04 225HO for4 yrs and no problems with the LU
did u ever have a problem with debris such as grass or weeds covering the filter and setting off the alarm? i heard that was an issue before 07, any more input would be great.
i know, just heard it could happen easier with the etech. the last 2 boats i ran were hpdi. thanks!!!
I own a 2005HO ETEC. Purhcased in March 2005. They did have a false overheat alarm during extensive idling. This was cured with an update. Other than that, it has been flawless and I have run the pi$$ out of it.

thanks 200xp...i will pull the trigger this friday. always nervours when buying used boat, esp with an unfamiliar to me engine.
