landed a few at Longmire today...

Caught five, all under 22", so no keepers. Two of them were just under, 19" & 20".

All on pumkin seed green 6" lizard, texas rigged.

First bite was a nice fish, got him to the side of the boat, kneeled down lip him and.... yip, you guessed it, away he went. That was all I needed to keep me goin' throughout the day....

Headed back tomorrow morn...

Was there the week before Easter. Only fished it a couple times. All that rain really screwed it up. Here's a pic of a HAWG my bro-in-law took at Arbuckle that week though.... LEGIT 13 lbs 4 ounces on two scales. Biggest bass I'd ever seen in person

Hmmmmmmmmmm...... actually, that's me. He was kind enough to let me hold it..... and hug it.... and drool all over it . Being from Iowa we don't see fish like that, I had to get my hands on it!
