    Florida Pan Handle Fishing

He guys, I may be transferred at some point in the future to the Crestview area. How does the bass fishing situation look down that way? Maybe a stupid question, but is there any good lakes near there within a 30 minute or hour drive? I know of seminole but what else is down that way. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Lake Seminole, Mobile Bay and Eufalua and the Apalachicola Rver upper and lower are all probably 2 hours or less. Haven't fished in the Crestview area, but the Choctawhatchee River, Blackwater River, Pensacola bay are avaiable. I'd say there is plenty of water---if you like me finding fish may be a problem butI'd tbe there are plenty to hunt for. There are BBC members in that area and I'm sure they fill ya in soon.

Im not from that area, but from what Ive found here in Central FL. there are nice little watering holes all over the place! I doubt it'd be any different up north..

Seminole, Eufala and Talquin are the closest bigger bodies of water for you.
Going West:: You;re looking at the 3 rivers system (blackwater-including yellow, Escambia, and Perdido).
Do not overlook the Alabama waters. Obviously you are from AL and are aware of the great waters to fish across the border.
Then ther are the bays for redfish etc...
SOOOOO much water ....SOOOO little time
