2007 Nitro 911CDC Bilge Pump Question

My boat came with a MayFair 1600GPH bilge pump (non Cartridge type) I had to replace it a couple of years ago. i was able to find an exact replacement but last year the Discharge neck broke on the pump i was able to fix it with some epoxy but not sure how long it will last. I have been looking for another one and i also need to replace the ultima switch because i dont think it works either. i could possibly go with a different pump but would like to stay with similar size and location of discharge pipe because i dont have a lot of slack in the hose. any suggestions?

I went with the new style Johnson 1600GPH and mounted it next to the old one. Hose hookup was the same on my 911.

was there a reason you did not remove the old one?

I got a 929, it had a 1600 in it. I went ahead and put a rule 2000 in it. Just in case I ever forgot to put the plug in, maybe it would pump out faster than it was flowing in,lol.
