We were fishing today and we left the bilge pump on for over an hour straight. It still comes on but does not shoot any water out the port as we poured two litres straight down the hole. It gurgles but doesn't come out, only way to drain is to pull plug and drain.
Have I cooked the livewell bilge pumps to the point of replacement or could it be another problem?
which is it, the blige pump or the livewell pump? If it's the bilge pump you'll need more water int here
Try adding more water and make sure the bow is raised a bit so most of the water will be at the back.
That's why I replaced all my hoses with clear ones, I can see exactly wether water is comin' or goin'

Bilge pump, you say add more water? I thought 2 litres would have sufficed but I'll try more and tilt the boat back. I think it's somehow cooked as not even a dribble came out after 2 litres.
