94 200 Johnson Venom question

I have a 94 Johnson 200 Venom and have an oil question.
What oil should I be running in it? I have recently purchased the boat and want to do everything the right way to start. The person I bought the boat from stated Wally World(Wal-Mart) sells the oil. Please educate me on the oil to run. Is synthetic an option?

He is probably referring to the Pennsoil that WW sells, we recommend using BRP oil so,, for your motor XD-50. You can run the XD-100 but it is expensive and you don't have a DI or an E-tec. I run the XD-50 in mine and decarb once a year. CM
