    Yama 250 lower unit

I just got this boat Triton with a yamaha 250. Went to change the oil in the lower unit. I found the screw on top to vent but it does no have a bottom place for the oil to drain out of what is the deal. all my other yamaha has had bottom plugs why not this one. Do I have a big problem or is this the norm for the 250hp and has to be done by a dealer

If it is an HPDI, the plug is behind the intake screen on the same side as the overflow plug. Use an allen wrench to take the screen loose and you will see the plug.
