    Yama hammer question

Does a series 2 yamaha 200 have something that tells it to stop trimming up when running wide open? My dad said he made a run today with his new hydriloc steering and a new 25p 4 blade prop , hotfoot to the floor with the bolt out and it only turns 5200 rpms. He said it wouldn't trim up anymore

you can only trim as high as the trim rams" double rams" will extend, the motor will not raise in the tilt mode " sinlge middle ram" while under power

+1 mine only trims to a certain point also..and at that point ill usually have a rooster tail 6ft high... really no point in trimming higher...try a diff pitch prop to raise rpm
