99 opti 200hp. took to shop for coughihg and spiting almost like it had a miss.mechanic replaced port fuel rail #4 coil and tracker diapham tested in tank and ran fine. ran on water after picking up and way down on power 600 rpm.took back to mechanic can't find any problem. when i put it on trailer it will go to 2000 rpm and just breack up like crazy. will not even push up on trailer. any in put would be great thanks.
Pull the spark plugs and check them. It "may be time" for new ones.... and, BTW... you'll want NGK - IZFR5G, gapped at .032" (ignore any stickers on your engine that say otherwise).
Not uncommon when you've had "rich running" conditions (and it sounds like you may have had "three" of them).

Thank you europeanAM. did replace plugs and fuel pumps after dealer told me every thing checked out. boat is back at the dealer. I gave up trying to guess and through parts fuel pumps not cheap. just trying to get all in put before dealer tells me i need more repairs that will not fix problems. thank you for your time and in put. this is a great site. I see you put alot of time in on here. thanks
