    timing on a carb 2.4...

I am wanting to remove the timing advance module. to hopefully get some more R's
What would you recommend to set the timing at after the removal of the module?
It’s a mercury XR4, 2.4, with boyessen reeds, oil mixed, standard heads… have been burning reguler gas with penzoil and seafoam.
