I've got this motor on my Triton TR-18. When she was newer it would run 65 with no problem, but now won't rev over 4200 rpm. Holeshot is still great but no top end speed. When I'm running full throttle and go over a wake, when the boat rocks side-to-side it takes off and revs over 5200 rpm. After that it runs down to 4200 and is stuck there. Sorry Seahorse the prop is 14 1/2x24 and motor is: J150PLEE. Anyone with thoughts on what this could be?
