1992 175hp Evinrude Intruder - Fuel Issue

I just had the motor rebuilt this winter and got it out on the water to break in this past week. I ran it on my starboard fuel tank and it ran great - no issues at all. I switched it over to the port side tank, the motor runs for about a minute and then sputters and shuts off.

Is this a fuel line issue? Something possibly wrong with the valve that switches from the starboard to port side tank? I assume it's probably and issue with the port side fuel line, but want to confirm before I change it out. Any help would be great. Thanks!

If you just had the motor rebuilt, I would be replacing all the fuel lines to protect that investment. More than likely, you have a bad antisiphon ball in the tube going into the tank or the fuel line is stopped up or deteriorated inside . Always remember that a lean engine that is starved for fuel is a very unhappy engine and when they are unhappy they get expensive.
