    Stale gas

Just getting around to fixing up my champion. It sat for five years due to uncontrollable circumstances. Problem is it has had 2, maybe 3 gallons of fuel in the tank. Looking for suggestions on how to get it out or dilute it with a full tank (24 gals).

    Thanks in advance,

    Mike

    Re: Stale gas (quisdraw)

Unless you plan on pulling the tank, I would look at siphoning it out the best I could. Then fill it up with fresh gas.

If you have carbs on your motor and they had gas in them, chances are you will need to pull the bowls off and see how the carbs look.

I'd siphon it from the boat for sure. In the past I always put my stale gas in my beater car
