    Re: restoring trailiors (HOOK123)

I had the same problem with mine. My boat's a 88' model, so you can imagine how bad they were. I used the same wet sanding, buff method that I used on the top cap, and they came out fine!
I just started with a little coarser paper. I think I started with 1000 grit, and worked my way up to the 2000.

    Re: restoring trailiors (santeerangerman)

Mine are the same. Once i get moved into the house, im going to start on the trailer which will include repainting the entire trailer. I wet sanded and buffed a small area and they appeared to be fine after.
