Getting ready to put my tank etc back into the boat and when I tested my anti-siphon valve I discovered that it was not there, the little ball is missing so it is just a straight pass through. Since it is a check valve to hold fuel in the line I will assume it is important to have it in there so I should go buy a new one and install it before puytting it back together.
Also, it looks pretty standard so I assume these are pretty much universal for the 3/8" line.
Advice appreciated.

. When I first tested it I had to open it all the way because if the ball was there and allowing travel both ways I was concerned that it could be less than ideal and cause a slight fuel flow restriction.
