    anti siphon valve

    What is the purpose of the anti siphon valve and do you really need to have one?
    Just can't leave well enough alone!!

    It was a CG thing to keep fuel from escaping back to the tank. Most people just knock out the ball and spring as they have been known to stick and cause fuel restriction. Or you can replace with regular brass fittings.

    I removed mine and have no issues, I just keep the bulb primed before starting.
