PM purduephigam. He just got back from there. I believe he made a post in the Illinois Fishing Report section. I am heading down there with him in less than 2 weeks. Last year in early March we fished the cold arm and had luck with throwing plastics in and around laydowns and along the drop offs in shallow water.
A little birdie told me white jigs work well.

If they move up white swim jigs will work but cranking this time of year will work well
but I would start at the ledges with jigs or deep cranks then move to the hot water side and crank secondary points ,if things are slow go to the discharge and look for some BIG whites this time of year :)
