    Thrust washer

    Friend has 225 E-tec/He is switching from a Raker 2 prop to a Renegade
    Does he need to change the thrust washer also?,

    I assume the thrust washer on the Raker ll is the same as the old Raker so yes he would.

    No. But there is a splined washer that goes behind the gade and you are going to need a blowout ring.

    I have never needed a blow out ring for a gade.

    Also on my engine, the thrust washer for a raker and a gade is the same. They told me that when I went to the dealer, and I didn't believe them, so I ordered it online, and it was the same washer.
