On the retainer plate for 1987 200hp there are four bolt holes to retain the prop shaft carrier. there is also another hole i assume is to provide oil to carrier bearing.
Question can anyone tell me what position the hole should be 3,6,9,or 12 oclock?

Thanks in advance</TD></TR></TABLE> Not that it matters, but I have always put it at 12:00. Oil is flowing to the carrier regardless of that hole.
