    That is not good, I think I am moving to the Aiken N. Augusta area early next year, was looking forward to fishing hartwell, guess not now. How does Strom Thurmond look?

    I've got a buddy that tried the 4 wheeler thing on Hartwell.... you know, one of those "good ideas gone bad" things...

    It all started about 3 weeks ago... he'd been watching this island across from his property get bigger and bigger... and finally decided he could get his 4 wheeler up to about 40 MPH and cross the water to the island. It worked!

    Problem was... island had not grown enough to "get back up to 40 MPH for the return trip"... took several of his buddies to rescue the poor, soggy 4-wheeler....

    Goodness, I just came through on 123 on my way to Liberty and it looks very very bad. Of course Lanier isn't looking too good either! for rain, and lots of it!

    +1 on that! I've been down here putsing around most of the weekend... I almost can't bear to look across the road- looks more like sand-dunes than a lake!
