2001 Rude Ram My no oil alarm came on after about a min. or so after I took my boat off the trailer yesterday. I turned the engine off, Checked the tank and made sure the bulb was tight. No signs of any problems. Restarted the engine and no alarms after that. Any Idea what would have causedthis alarm? I'm guessing I have pulled something a little loose when I changed the plugs before this trip.
No, I don't have the serial # handy.

Hi, not to steal your post but my 99 ficht 175 did the same thing. I ran it for a while after replacing water pump and no oil alarm came on horn and light I checked oil, full tank, checked bulb it was tight. Restarted and never happened again. Ran it a couple of days later no alarms. Good to Go
Mine did the same, and it was the oil lift pump getting weak, only alarmed at idle. Don't know about Roddys, but that ficht should probably get one. wouldn't hurt. It's old enough. The oil lines are deceiving, because they are blue. Don't let that fool ya. No oil, no powerhead.
