    Re: (Tr21Pd)

I think I might go over to Weiss....with the warm stable weather, the dock bite should be GREAT

Mike....West Point has been tough lately.....only 12lbs won the club tourney that I didn't fish....our BAIT tourney only had 2 fish caught

    You been doing any better????

Not sure where I am going either but headed to a lake somewhere on Sunday and probably again on Monday. I fished West point last weekend and it was tough. Of course the wind was blowing hurricane force!!!!

Might try Sinclair. The bite there has been good as of late.

Sinclair is a good place for dock skipping, the docks down there are just a bit higher and alittle easier to skip.

    Re: Long weekend (toddandy)

Todd, well to be honest the boat was torn apart as I got a new 50 gal fuel tank from c+o as the ones in my boat were sucking back fuel and the tank switch was leaking air, so I have been replacing it all weekend too damed hot to do it in the afternoon 90+ degrees had to finally turn on the old AC unit in the house the dogs were giving me hungry attack looks. so I may take here out this afternoon as I finally got done and back together goona take it to freds for a check up on saturday.
Now for the ugly part.......... son at least I dont break mirrors like you do, last time you tried to buy clothes you broke every mirror in the fitting rooms and they charged you for that Have a good one

guys went fishing with the girlfriend thursday evening. Had 1 on possibly Gar but forgot to set the drag on a new spinning reel. Then we missed a fish on a bottom rig with a large minnow. Striper or cat.

    Re: (Schulze)

Wish I got to see what I had on down there , was fishing a fresh finger mullet on a flounder rig on a shoal and got ready to move the boat. BIL pulled up anchor and I gave a few twist of the reel and wham! Doubled over rod! fought for close to an hour and finally got it coming top side, two head shakes at about 5' down and goodbye. Either a big ray, medium shark or a Cobia. Was real fun on a 7'6" flippin stick and 17# test, guess I should have tied a bimini knot on my rig, .

    Re: (ChampioNman)

Sounds like a bunch of fish tales to me

I went to Weiss on Saturday for a few hours before the moron madness started....I caught about a dozen fish with about 8 being keepers in the 1-2lb class....nothing to write home about, but was still a fun few hours

Steve....I can fix my mirror, but YOU can't fix ugly

    Take care ya'll

    Sinclair was brutal yesterday.
I don't even want to talk about it. That's how bad it was.

    Re: (Schulze)

Shulze, NWGA Bassmaster could have given you some pointers on the bank fishing.

And Todd you should have looked him up on Weiss. Isn't that his home lake where he caught those two fish he used in all of his photos? Ya'll could have had a picnic together.
