Just wondering if others have had to change their spark plugs before the three year period? The points on my plugs are almost none existent and my motor has been starting like crap as a result.

Hey Dodge....I have an 05 225 Etec and up until now I've run the plugs that came in the engine from the factory QC10PEPB, and yes I've had to change them about every 50 hours. There was an upgrade done to mine that was supposed to make the plugs last longer consisting of longer "deflector" pins to keep the injectors from eroding the spark plug electrode, (as it was explained to me.)
I was curious too about plug life and the new factory recommendation is to run QC10WEC plugs. I have them in my engine now as of yesterday so I don't know the long term results.
i had same problem with my 05 225ho etec.but after map upgrades and pins, thermostat and the new plugs zero problems before i went thru plugs every couple months but these been in for almost 2 years.sounds like your engine needs upgrades.see your dealer asap.
