I got a IM from Rick not to long after I became a member, It was about the Strawberry Festival that's in Plant City every year. After that we stayed in touch by IMs, while talking by IM find out they visit Florida to see their daughter regularly. Last year while they were visiting I took him out on the water http://www.bbcboards.net/zerothread?id=615278 , like I have a few out of State members. While they were around then, they ran around checking out places in Florida. They found a place a few months later up around the Harris Chain and closed on it. They moved in a couple days ago and I figure he may check out the Florida Bass Club, so I wanted him to see where everyone is welcoming him as a part time resident to Florida. I for one am happy for them. I'm glad I became a member of BBC, and I'm glad to know Rick. He's one of the many people I get to talk to by IM on here. Heck, yesterday he had the chance to get out on the water, and in just a couple hours he boated more bass out there than I ever had in a 8 hour trip. Hey Rick, as I've told you before, Congratulations! I'm glad you and your wife have a second home down here, and it's going to be a honor getting the chance to hit the water again with you some days.

The Big O rally in March would be a great place to meet a bunch of the folks down here.

Plant City, it has been 46 years (1965) since I have been to Plant City. I was in the Air Force and on weekends played in a band at a Juke Joint (bar, dive, lounge, etc.....whatever you want to call it). Brings back some memories.
