Where in central FL to live/fish?

Moving company and family from TX (leaving Falcon and Amistad) to FL this fall and will be renting somewhere between Tampa and Orlando for at least a year or so to acclimate and become familiar with the landscape - thinking about Toho and Kissimee areas. Also exploring FLW and/or Bassmaster afiliated clubs. Any recomendations and why one particular is favorable over another?

    Thanks...

Fished that club for a number of years, great club and the largest B.A.S.S. afiliated club in the world. Lee Sisson, Bobby Lane and Chris Lane use to be members when I fished it, and alot of other good fisherman.

    Just a tad vague...

Looks like I'm going to settle in Lake Marion (sp?) north of Kissimmee area. Centrally located between Tampa and Orlando. Going to attend a Lakeland Bassmasters (30 minutes away) meeting the next time I'm on FL. Togo and Kissimmee chain are relatively close.

Understand you can't or shouldn't swim/ski in the inland lakes; Mosquitos are terrible; humidity is unbearable; tourists...

    Thanks...

you can swim and ski in the lakes. Water temp is 89 or so on Harris chain just North of Toho in Lake County. I wouldnt dunk my ears and nose under if you could help though during the summer! Lots of BIG fish in TOHO and also Harris Chain. Good luck!
