Pirates Robbing Boaters on Falcon Lake (Tx.)

Well it's not just off the coast of Somalia anymore it is now happeneing on one of the best bass lakes in the country Falcon Lake. I saw a small piece on Bassmater and added a link from the local news agency from out there. The criminals shot and killed a guy in front of his wife and chased her back into american water. They have robbed several other boats at gunpoint. The funny one is using duct tape to spell Game Warden on a boat. But the morons spelled it Game Wardin. At least buy a Websters Dictionary to spell our words right. This is exactly why I am armed (boat, truck, car) everywhere. My heart goes out to the young lady that lost her husband.

Don't get me wrong but what kind of a person would put himself and his wife in such danger just to see an old church? This is not new and has been going on for some time now and well documented.

I know that there is no way I would go in that lake on the Mexican side and take my wife!!!!!

Now I also think that our no account government should get off of there lazy no account azzes and go in an get the body and bring it home. Then blow Mexico to hell and back with the drug cartel and anyone else down there that would won't to get in the way!

I agree this story made the Today Show this morning, and they interviewed the grieved wife. What pi$$ed me off they asked the typical media question. " Did you have anything to do with your husbands death?" I would have said no that was the crazy drug dealing Mexican guy that shot him with either the AK or the AR 15. With all the kidnappings and murders from the cartels going on in Mexico it was not smart going over there on a tourist venture. Regardless the US needs to get involved so this family can grieve.

I bring my weapon with me on my rig 24/7 for 3 reasons, pirates, gators, and personal protection. Who knows one day I pull up to the boat ramp and someone says "nice car and boat, hand it over, and they pull a gun or who knows, im just making up a semi-real situation that could happen, not to say it would happen" but it just a comfort with all the crazy things going on right now in this world. I felt terrible that that happened to that family, but it could have been avoided
