Hey guys,
Figured id ask the resident experts here on the board which area/beaches would be good places to vacation in late April. It'd be me and the girlfriend so someplace in between a family beach and a place like Daytona(busy/nightlife) would be preferred.

Orlando. Your an hour from Daytona and have all the nightlife you want. Disney, Universal, Bass Pro, and all the shops and tourist traps you could want. Great food, entertainment, and fishing. Your also only an hour to hour and a half from the nicest beaches on Florida's Gulf Coast. East coast beaches really arent that great, and in April could be damn chilly.

What are some of the beaches on the west coast that would be worth checking out and which ones to avoid?

Go to Longboat key, just north of Sarasota, about 1 hour south of Tampa. Its always voted in the top 10 beeches. Not very crowded. As a plus some great snook fishing on the beech or get a guide.
