its been tough for a bit ( summertime and all ) there should be schoolers at the jetties on the south end...topwqater early in the grass. swimming / buzzing worms always produce...dollar bonnet patches on east shore s of pine island will hold fish as the sun gets up, but your better fish should come off of pilings..watch for the speed zones in astor and on the west shore of george..take a swimsuit and slip into sliver glen and cool off during the heat of the day

The pilings are on east side? Are they easy to find?

back in the day, there used to be 24 sets of pilings on l george, sadly many have rotted away there some sets on the east shore the largest being at nine mile point ( navy dock ) north to pine island fish camp theres a few sets heading up the east shore..when you see the pilings on the east shore , stay that far out from shore while running, these a few hidden ones if you run in towards the shore . go srraight in... theres soe good sets on the north end also...dont forget the docks just north of the lake ,wouldnt hurt to try woody banks north and south of the lake were yall planning on stayin ?

very good advice, while the guys that stopped me were nice they also explained that no wake "could mean taking the motor in out of gear if needed" no ticket but wasted 10 mins
