Going to Classic -- Where to launch Boat???

If we are going to the classic this weekend where should we launch our boat to follow guys around first thing in the morning on Friday? Is the ramp at the takeoff open to everyone or do we need to find an alternative ramp?

Depends on where you are staying or coming from. I would launch at the Loudoun dam / canal ramp and run up toward Knoxville, but I live on the south side (in North Georgia) and am familiar with the area I mentioned.

Find and alternative ramp. There is one at the mouth of Lacky creek Louisville Point Park, Georges Creek, Concord Park any of these should put you in plenty of action. The Canal Ramp will also see plenty of action for the folks going to fish Tellico and the lower end of Loudoun.

The Tennessee Wildlife Resource Agency tweeted out some restrictions on the river and with launches.
