R there BIG BASS in withaloochee river,what r the big bass rivers in florida

hey,needing to get experience fishen rivers,since i live in florida,won't get to excited about that river,without a chance to catch a real hog,heard the withaloochee had big bass,i know st. johns does,but i'm in tampa,and need to go frequently,and st. johns along way,any suggestions,when i say big bass,i'm talking 11 plus,i'd say that's a big river fish,got a 13-4 from farm 13 in 2000,and about 40 over 10 from stickmarsh,walknwater,crooked,now these were on shiners,not saying i caught all those monsters on lures,before shiners,i had caught 3 bass over 10 on lures in 8 years,and 11-2 on a zara spook.a 10 plus on zara spook,and a monster on a musky jitter bug,,i caught 12 over 10 in one month at farm13,i just want to catch the big one,have alot of pride,i mean ALOT of pride for florida,and i'm tired about hearing about all the big bass coming from texas,california,mexico,what ever happend to us,there all forida bass anyway,well i'm out to do something about it,i gonna fish till i catch something that shuts up them overly proud texans, and let me stuff some rainbow trout down some florida bucketmouths throat,shut up them californians to,i just fish long and hard,about 20 days a month,trying for basssquatch,we'll see,later boy's

we dont have to prove nuthin to texas or cali....yes, the withlacoochi has big bass.tryin to catch a 11+ will be a chore.a good friend of mine has caught 2 over 11 in the fom n. fla. tx. the last two yrs.both outta the river.there are some monsters in the rainbow as well.the kissimmee river holds some giants also.

Others certianly know the river better than I but, as far as i know the river does have good fish but it's not really suited to the regular bass boat. It is very shallow in many areas and is not marked for navigation except in the Dunnellon and Lake Rousseau areas. I'm sure someone else will be along to further expound on the subject.

I fish rousseau, the cooch and the rainbow alot. I catch big fish there....just because they are there, doesn't mean you will catch them. You need to learn the water and I do not recommend Rousseau if you do not know it. It can be tough on lower units.

Ray Wright is a guide in the local area that I know, that knows the river and lake Rousseau well. I don't have his number but I'm fairly sure if you google the name it will come up on the net.

Ray Wright # 352-220-1665 I would recommend him he knows these waters around here probably better than anybody. At few years back he had a local fishing show and a lot of his shows was done on the Withaloochee River.

You aren't catching 10lb+ on the Hillsborough River????? Don't worry I never do either. You might get with AJ (Knowfish) he knows the river pretty well.
