The next NoAl tournament will be at Cedar Creek on August 14th out of the Slick Rock boat ramp. Registration will begin at 4:45 with "ease off" at first light which should be right at 5:30. Weigh in time will be at 3:00 unless we decide on an earlier weigh in during registration.

Because the hot weather takes a toll on the fish as well as the angler, I'd also like to propose a little wrinkle for this month. How does everyone feel about a "split weigh in"? We'd still have our usual 5-fish limit for the tournament but open the scales for a 30 minute period during the day - say from 10:30 to 11:00 - to allow everyone an opportunity to weigh in part or all of their fish. I think that might make it a lot easier on the fish during the course of the day. Of course, there would also be a little strategy involved, too, since you wouldn't have a opportunity to cull once you weighed in those fish. Might make for an interesting tournament.
