We had a decent seven boat turnout for our tournament on Weiss. The fishing was very good for the most part with all but one team bringing a 5-fish limit to the scales. Even the weather cooperated for a change with some very comfortable temperatures until the clouds burned off around 11:00 or so. I don't know about everyone else but it got pretty warm for this ol' fat boy after that! Anyway, on with the results.....

Harry and Alan took first place with a real nice limit weighing 15.39 pounds anchored by a nice "big fish" winning 5.10 pound largemouth. Second place went to Todd and Andrew, who weighed in a nice limit weighing 11.45 pounds.

One of our members, Terry Whaley, was unable to attend because of a prior commitment but thanks to his generosity, we were able to award not just one, but two big fish prizes. The team of Robert and Derek were awarded a night's stay at Weiss Lake Lodge by bringing a nice largemouth weighing 4.63 pounds to the scales. Thanks again to Terry for his generous contribution!

It was really nice to see everyone and I look forward to seeing everyone again next month at Neely-Henry!
