Guntersville Trip

Heading for G'ville this coming Sunday the 10th for at lest 5 days of fishing. Not sure we will stay there the whole time or head to Pickwick, or Ky later in the week.
Either or planing on a 7 day trip

Any tips, places to stay, etc. Right now looking at Goose pond area to stay near and fish.
Pickwick not sure about. Have never been on either on of these lakes so any help would be great.
Retirement and being out of debt does have some great advantages
