ABA schedule is out

For all those that have been asking. Here is the link to the ABA schedule. National championship to be held on KY Lake first week of Oct.

First one is on Wheeler Sun. Come on out and fish with us.

Had 15 brave souls show up for the ABA on Wheeler Sun. Norman Ligon won with 11.13 and had big fish of 3.79. Thanks to all that came out in the tough weather. Next tourney is on Pickwick out of McFarland 11-8-09.

Sorry, I didn't make it, Robert. I had every intention of going but I had my a$$ handed to me so badly at the Gray's Tackle tournament on Saturday that I couldn't bear the thought of paying again to prove how much I suck at tournament fishing.

Glad you had such a good turnout, though.

I heard Gray's had some good fish weighed in. There were several that fished Sat that WERE gonna come out and stayed in bed. You weren't alone.

Avery, didn't Robert guarantee you that the Triton would put ten pounds of fish in the boat every time it went out? Hope you got that in writing.

10 lbs wouldn't have gotten a dime on the Gray's Sat. Took nearly 22 to win it.

I'm pretty sure there were three or four others over 20 pounds as well and they only paid three places. It would really break my heart and hurt my feelin's to bring 20 pounds to the scales and not even cash a check!!

Of course, we would've weighed in only half that much and every single keeper in the boat was caught by my partner.

that's the norm. in the Grays tourneys............those are locals and most them are respected/seasoned smallmouth fishermen........if you aren't on fish, that's a tough trail to be successful in.........20+ to get money usually................truly some of the areas best on PW/Wilson anyway

Next ABA is Nov the 8th out of McFarland Park. Went yesterday for a little while and the fish are still bitin. Nothin big but put a few keepers in the boat including a nice smallie.
