Avery you might need to double check on city park in gadsden i think that launch may be closed they have that new coosa landing across the river and just up from the old city park. We went by the other day and it looked like they dont have that launch anymore not for sure thats just what it looked like.............

The ramp across the river that you are talking about is the ramp we talked about using. It's called the city landing. They've paved the parking lot and built a new building that includes bathrooms, tackle shop and snacks and drinks. Bass/WBT and ABA all use this landing. The City of Gadsden has spent alot of money on this ramp to bring in the larger tournaments. I think you're correct about the old park ramp I don't think it is in use anymore.

Avery will your scales go up to 25 or 30 lbs for the march tournament on upper bear? Danny knows where all those big fish stay up here.

Fished it Monday in the rain.....no luck. One keeper in 3 hours. May go out in the morning for a few hours before I eat so much that I can't move.

I have heard it mentioned here during this year . Never figured out where it was either . Maybe some one could post a map-quest to it also .

Would like to find out a little more about it since it's on the shcedule .

Thanks for the info ! That would be a definite 2 day for me . Will have to look at this as it gets closer .

    Thanks , Robert Farrar

It's actually in north Winston County near Haleyville AL. To Franklin County near the Town of Bear Creek. The Twin Forks ramp we usually use is behind Philips High School in the Town of Bear Creek. You have to cross the railroad tracks at the school and it's about a mile and a half to the ramp.

FromTwin Forks you can be anywhere you want to go (up or down lake) in 15 to 20 min.. It's got a little bit of everything Shallow/deep points. The grass has come along nicely the last couple of years lots of laydowns and rock ledges and bluffs. Several humps and creek channels and stump beds along it's length.
