2nd Annual Alabama BBC Bass Club meet and greet Tournament

Hey guys we have decided to have another "Meet and Greet" tournament this year. It will be our October TX at Mitchell. Everyone is invited (that includes you Yankees!) and encouraged to bring a new guy or non-BBC'er to fish with. The number one goal is to have a great time and fellowship. The second goal is to introduce some new folks to our great club and get to know each other a little better.

I'm only going to make one post concerning this. But a lot is going to be decide in this post between now and Oct. So if you are interested please subscribe so you can stay updated.

<u>Concerning the Tournament:</u>
I think we'll be starting around 6am. So everyone needs to have there paper work turned in by 5:30am. Remember Mitchell gets pretty crowded quick so give yourself plenty of time. Weigh in will be at 12 noon. That should give everyone plenty of time to stay for the cook out and still have plenty of time to get back home with out being too late.

<u>Concerning Food</u>
Please post if you can bring the one of the following: Chips.....Condiments

If we are assigned a food to bring we need to make sure we show up. It would be bad to have hambugers and the bun guy don't show up. Or the plate man is a no show and we eat baked beans out of our hands . Or the drink man don't show and we drink lake water . Or we give Jason all our money and he don't show Or........well I could go on and on and on.

Last year was a lot of food, fun and fellowship..with a little BS mixed in.....it was a blast. Let's repeat with a good turn out.

I suggest we each sign up and supply stuff. If agreed;

I'll supply the burgers, weiners, slaw, baked beans, onions and buns.

Then we will need:

1 grill and charcoal (with lighter fluid)
Drinks
Condiments
Desserts (Little Debbie's)
paper towels and plates

Yeah I started to address this in my original post. But, then it started to sound like something written by the Alabama state legislature. So, I took it all out and was gonna see what you guys came up with. Agreed, if anyone signs up to bring something they need to be sure they are going to be there or make arrangements to have there stuff there.

Thanks Rick for volunteering to bring all that. I'll Bring Grill and all that goes with that. (charcoal, ect....) also plates, napkins, forks and spoons.

Since I'm bringing the baked beans I would like to take this opportunity to warn you..... I like them spicy!

I really like them well seasoned....they usually produce this reaction......they should only be eaten AFTER a tx as eating them before could curl the co angler's mono as well as singeing his nose hairs............... if your truck has cloth seats you probably should pass on the beans ..........

I can,t promise but but if I can work it in my budget I plan on trying to make it. Your right on the tenn river lakes some of those die hard river fisher men won't even fish bcda lakes or smith. But maybe gas prices play a part in that also.I have fished Lay, Logan ,& Jordon before and would like try another maybe.

It will be on October 4 right after our tournament. We fish the first Saturday of each month.

Come join us even if you don't fish our tournament. Rick cooks a mean burger.
Besides it would be great to put a face with all your post. I know you don't look like your avatar............or do you?
