NoAl Chapter - Sign up here to fish Wilson on May 17th

Wilson has been selected as the lake to fish in May. It will be held on the 17th with registration beginning at 4:30 and "ease off" at safe light, which should be between 5:15 and 5:20. Weigh-in will be at 3:00pm as usual.

We typically launch out of Safety Harbor near Wheeler dam but several members have asked that we move our launch site to Fleet Harbor, which is located at Wilson dam, for this particular tournament. When you sign up to fish, please include your choice of launch site.

UPDATED INFO: It appears that the majority have selected Fleet Harbor as our launch site for this event. Please be aware that there are other tournaments launching from the same site so you might want to plan accordingly.

    Confirmed participants

    1. Avery Faile & Kyle Prestage (either ramp is fine)

    2. David Scogin & John Scogin (either ramp is fine)

    3. Andrew Inmon & Mike Inmon (Fleet Harbor)

    4. Terry Burleson & Tommy Baker (Fleet Harbor)

    5. Chris Fortney & Danny Howell (? ramp)

Sorry to hear about your daughter's home, Steve.

I know there are times when it must seem like a small consolation but we can all be very, very thankful that they weren't home when it hit!

    Re: (fishcraze)

I'm trying to work it out where I can fish. Don't put me down just yet, but I'm trying. My son has a t-ball game that morning so I may have to leave my partner for a couple of hours if that's ok with everyone.

    Re: (fishcraze)

Count me in. I will have the local pro Danny Howell in my boat. I will vote for a ramp that does not have any other tournaments out of it. Lock 6 or any other one. Would any one like to start a wager for smallest fish? I am used to catcing them so I wanted to win something. Just throwing it out there.

Are you sure you want to go there?!? I can catch some awfully big drum! And I'm not even sure the last one I caught would've fit in the livewell. I'm guessing it would've easily gone 20 pounds!
