    ENGINE LIGHT ON SYTEM CHECK GAUGE

    MY ENGINE LIGHT IS ON ,,ON MY SYSTEM CHECK GAUGE BUT GOES OFF IF I GIVE IT A LITTLE GAS...ANY IDEAS BEFORE I BRING IT IN...

    On my engine, the check engine light means the vacuum sensor on the fuel line is readying too high, in other words a restriction in the fuel delivery system.

    Your owners manual should tell you what it means. Mine did.
