Triton Gold for older boats..

Help me decipher whats on the Triton site. I get that qualifying tournaments pay $500 for older Tritons? Is that correct and is that for top finishing Triton or win? Do I haveta wear Triton Gold stuff that I do not have? So many questions to see if it is even worth it since my boat is a 2001 that I bought in 2011.

Winners of tournaments using boats manufactured from 1997 through 2009 will receive $500.00 for tournaments with 60 boat fields and if they are the original retail owner of the boat.

Winners of tournaments using boats manufactured from 1997 through 2009 will receive $250.00 for tournaments that are sponsored by Triton Boats or our dealers with smaller fields 30 -59 boats and if they are the original retail owner of the boat.

Winners of tournaments using boats manufactured from 1997 through 2012 that were previously owned (used boats) will be paid $250.00.

Must be wearing a Triton Boats shirt (with Triton logo exposure on front and back) and/or the official Triton Gold cap while competing and at the weigh-ins.

Must display official Triton Gold decals on your tow vehicle.

You have to win to claim the prize. You also have to be the registered owner with Triton and wear the triton Gold hat and a Triton shirt

Thanks fellas. I am sure I read it but it was not sinking in. I guess I will not worry about the hassle for $250 in the chance I win. Now if I had a new one I would be all over it.

That's interesting... cause I called Triton a few months ago. They told me they have no information on boats... ?? before 200? (can't remember exact year.. early 2000's) due to a hard drive crash. How do they know who the original owner of the boat was?

Hard drive crash? That's sooo 1990's......I would have recovered the data for them for a 2013 21HP....just sayin!!
