    Kentucky lake help

heading down again this year, but going one month later instead. we fished the north end mostly last year. thinking about hitting the paris end this time. Going down 3rd weekend in April. What can i expect for a bite? which area would be better, north or south? Any info is awesome.
    thanks

From what I remember in Paris is to find the grass......a lizard is always a good thing to throw that time of year....Rodney could expound on this a little...

    Re: Kentucky lake help (Swerve-n-Protect)

Not much grass the end of April and jerkbait bite will be ending .Some spawning will be happening this year at that time because of the warm temps. Roe should be ripening early. i would plan for a late prespawn pattern which for me would mean small cranks and crawdad imitating plastics and maybe some lipless rattle baits in red patterns. Bring lots of swervey's shakey heads in punkin and chartreause...

how high will the water be at that time?

Is the south end better than the north end?

yankees are northeasterners. I'm north in the middle of nowhere. I'm too north and not far enough west to be from the midwest.

    kind of nothing i guess
