Anybody have the link to the T&H Marine battery strap photos that were on here, that show how to install? I think the thread started in the Ranger forumn?

I took a picture of mine before I unhooked it. Hope this helps.

Re: Battery Strap (Mark from NY)

That was a smart thing to do Mark. I always have problems hooking them back up. You gotta have a PHD in "strapology" to do that without pictures or some type of instructions! Way over my head, for sure.

    Re: Battery Strap (Chopper)

Do you guys know where to buy those straps? I have looked on t&H site before and all over the net and can not seem to find them. I have three but added a fourth battery for a 36v trolling motor and had to use the strap that came with the tray, these hold the batteries much better.

That pic was such a huge help; I was just about to pull what little bit of hair I have left out. Thanks for posting!

I actually think the picture I posted is a little easier to see. But thanks for the link. I bet the op is about ready to give up on it by now.

I used a heavy duty ratchet strap on my battery. I bought it at the local hardware store. I ran the strap under the battery case and made a little plate for under the case (just to reinforce). I was tired of of my battery straps breaking or my batteries moving with weaker straps. Once I but this into my rig my batteries are solid in place. Just ran the ratchet strap over the top and ratchet down. This is the best battery tie down I have used. If it is hard to visualize I may be able to take a few shots and post later.

This is what I did with the straps. Rock solid. Just don't over tighten the straps.
