Re: stroker speed w/tx load??? (bayou bullet 20xd)

I went with the wife last weekend and was running 95 with a full tank of gas, both back compartments full, front compartment half full, and a large tackle bag under the front deck extension. I was running a 32 bravo and 26-27 lb of water pressure and turning only 58-5900 rpms. I had more if conditions would have been a little better. And Bravo's are not known for there speed! I think I can break trips with that load and my ET cut.

Re: stroker speed w/tx load??? (spider1)

Jason and I ran our full tourney load last month with 3/4 gas, worked 30 Bravo to 104 in Nightmare, with the Hydro Tec Yammy Monster. It was cold, not warm and humid...

Lou can give you some exact 300x numbers.

I can give you some real 300x numbers on Blackie very soon, with a power pole....

Full tourney load, depending on set up, should be mid to upper 90's near 100 with an X motor, but others can chime in who currently run this way...............

Re: stroker speed w/tx load??? (blair)

I think loaded down with a stock x you will be upper 90's with a good fishing prop.
I think Lou is running a 28 bravo just below 100.

My motor is right at the hp of a x may be a few more but not much.

My 2002 stroker with a 300x and 2 men going fishing would run 97 about any day and better on some

I know Lou can fish mid 90 to high 90's when his limiter isnt in the boat ....Although i have seen the limiter just hold on for dear life when the Boys are out playing

All right you show-offs--WHY don't you just say-- fast as a MOFO. Or, I cannot think of many boats that will pass us. Fast enough. It will bring tears to your eyes and a pucker factor that will hold you to the seat. You get where I am coming from...

    Yep with 1.62 gears.

Buddy you fish most of the time. You will love the way a stroker fishes! Night and day difference from the boat you have now. Very very stable while fishing.

    Yes he is...1.62 gears

    > Jason

Buddy, you will be able to fish 92 to 97 with a 300X, 28 Croxton Bravo, 14" setback, 1.62 gears, @ about 6500 rpms, depending on load.. (Also some boats will run better then otheres)

I have run better a time or 2 but they don't count, above is your every day fishing speeds..

I'm jeolous, mine runs 85 to 87 with a full load and 2 aboard with a 300xs and 1.75 sporty. That being said I've never been passed yet.
