Whats your setup right now and we can help ya? An original Raker 26, or 28 depending on load is gonna be your best prop with the Rude. Motor height is gonna be best around 3.25-3.5 below pad.

Fishing by myself- 27 Temp+ B&B 3''-2.75'' below pad. 72-73ish on gps. Somewhere around ~5900rpm.( FL heat)

    Tourney loaded w/partner- 26 stock Temp+ 69-70ish gps ~5800rpm.

Water P. with both is around 20 WOT

Fastest I've had the boat was 76.6 with a B&B perfect condition 26 Original Raker.

I'm running a 26 Raker II..Mark has done his magic on it..I also have a hyd plate so I'm not real sure what the height is....

73-75 mph with plate raised to about 15lbs of pressure...I'll guess it's around 3" below pad...

I have a 4 blade renegade to dig in the big water we have up here. It's set at 3", 20 psi, and will go to 70mph(GPS) if you drive your backside off with the chine. It has a great hole shot and climbs waves like a beast. I would like to get rid of the chine mainly. I was thinking about getting a 3 blade as a back up and was wondering what people were running.

Re: people with 294xl, 200ho etec, 6" plate (rchavis)

Had Mark to B&p a 28 Raker ll. Last spring with 3/4 tank fuel, empty live wells, and just me in boat I ran a 79.2. I run a hydraulic jack plate so I think I had it about 2 or 2 1/4 below pad. With a 27 pitch Tempest plus (also B&P by Mark) it would run mid 70's all day long. All gps speeds. By the way, what year is yours. Mine was a 2008 with the high speed gear case and 1.86 gears.

Very good combination if you will play with it and get it set up properly. Good Luck.

I had Mark B&B it right after I got the boat..I've had a couple of instances of one of the blades splitting.. Same blade both times..Mark has fixed it but nothing else done to prop..

27 TXP was my best prop, and a worked 28 Bravo1 a close second.
